c) Claim of prize for Canadian Residents (except Quebec)
In compliance with the Canadian Competition Act, any entrant who is a resident of Canada and selected as a potential winner will be required to correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, before being declared an eligible winner and awarded any prize. The skill-testing question will be administered at a time and in a manner determined by the Sponsor (e.g., via email, telephone, or other communication method), and must be answered correctly within a time limit of five (5) minutes via Signrequest.com. If the selected entrant fails to answer the question correctly within the designated time frame, or uses any form of assistance, the prize will be forfeited and the Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
2. Submission Window
Submissions open each Monday at 12:00 AM PST and close each Sunday at 11:59 PM PST.
3. How to Enter
To enter, participants must upload a gameplay clip to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Threads or X (Twitter) using the hashtag #getswept during the competition period.
Entrants must have an active public account on the platform where the clip is posted to ensure visibility and eligibility.
If selected as a finalist or winner, Swept Inc. will contact the participant directly via direct message (DM) on the platform the clip was submitted from to verify identity and confirm prize eligibility.
If the selected entrant does not respond within 7 calendar days of initial outreach, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.
4. Winner Selection and Voting
After each weekly submission window closes, Swept Inc. will select up to five (5) finalist clips based on creativity, execution, entertainment value, and technical skill. Public voting for that week's finalists will occur on swept.gg and will close at 11:59 PM PST on the Sunday following finalist selection. The winner will be announced on the following Tuesday or Wednesday. Note: Until swept.gg voting is live, weekly winners will be determined exclusively by staff vote.
5. Leaderboard Points and Scoring Formula
To ensure a fair balance between staff evaluation and community participation, winners are determined by a combined weighted score: Staff Voting: Staff members are allocated tokens to distribute among finalist clips. Each staff token is weighted at 1.04 points, reflecting a 51% share of the outcome. Public Voting: Public participants may cast votes on swept.gg. Every 5 public upvotes = 1 public point, weighted at 1.0. Scoring Formula: Final Score = (staff_tokens × 1.04) + public_points. Leaderboard Points: Public votes also contribute to leaderboard points. Every 5 public upvotes generates 1 leaderboard point. These points are tracked internally by Swept Inc. and will contribute to separate prizing for top placements, the details of which will be announced by Swept Inc. If a participant submits clips on multiple platforms, leaderboard points may be recorded under separate entries. Participants who wish to consolidate their points across platforms may submit a request through Swept Inc.'s official Discord server.
6. Prize and Payout
The selected winner will receive a cash prize of $100 USD. The prize will be paid via a method determined by Swept Inc., which may include PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or ACH bank transfer. The winner must provide a valid account for one of the approved payment platforms. Payment will be issued within 30 days of all required documentation being received and approved. If the winner is unable to receive payment through any of the available methods, an alternate winner or runner-up may be selected at Swept Inc.'s sole discretion.
7. Prize Claim and Tax Reporting
Winners are solely responsible for any taxes as required by law.
